Shabbat Services
Chabad Chiang Mai hosts weekly Shabbat services and meals, creating a warm community atmosphere for both visitors and long-term residents. The Friday night dinners are particularly popular, often bringing together Jews from around the world.
Friday Night
Kabbalat Shabbat services followed by a traditional Shabbat dinner. Reservation strongly recommended, especially during peak tourist season (November-February).
Shabbat Morning
Shacharit services with Torah reading. Kiddush follows the service. Times vary by season - contact Chabad for current schedule.
Jewish Holidays
Chabad Chiang Mai celebrates all major Jewish holidays with special programs, meals, and services. The center goes above and beyond during the High Holidays and Passover to ensure that even travelers far from home can observe properly.
High Holidays
Full Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. Advance registration required due to limited capacity. Book several months ahead.
Passover
Complete Passover program with Seders, daily services, and kosher-for-Passover meals. One of the largest Passover programs in Southeast Asia.
Sukkot
Beautiful sukkah available for meals and blessings. Special programs for Simchat Torah with hakafot and dancing.
Chanukah & Purim
Public menorah lighting, Megillah reading, festive meals, and community celebrations. Great for families with children.
